2.29.030 Powers – Duties.

It shall be the objective of the senior advisory commission, as an advisory body to the Council, to encourage, foster, and facilitate programs for the enhancement of all matters relating to the social, economic, and personal well-being of the senior population.

The Commission shall recommend to the Council the establishment and funding of programs and services for seniors within the City and review and make recommendations to the Council regarding any senior center operated by the City.

The Commission shall possess other such powers and duties as may be prescribed from time to time by resolution of the City Council.
