5.06 Budget Notices to Public.

On the first Monday and first Thursday in the last month of each fiscal year, the city manager shall cause to be published in the official city newspaper notice of the time for holding a public hearing on the budget. Copies of the proposed budget shall be made available for inspection by the public in the office of the city clerk at least 10 days prior to said hearing, and copies of the proposed budget shall be furnished at a reasonable charge to persons requesting same upon payment therefor.
